Part 01
Graduate School Admission
The vast majority of Avalon’s college consulting students continue on to graduate school. However, the application process for graduate school is entirely different. Unlike undergraduate admission, there is no Common Application for graduate school; students must apply to each program individually. Each program has its own essays, recommender requirements, prerequisites, expectations, and academic/work requirements.
Avalon assists with the following aspects of the graduate school application process:
- General guidance on the application process
- Creation of graduate school list
- Selecting graduate programs that align with student’s career goals
- Detailed project planning and timeline management for the application process
- Brainstorming, drafting, and editing personal statements and other written materials required for applications
- Obtaining recommended and required letters of recommendation from current professors, teachers, colleagues, supervisors, and others
- Preparation of supplementary materials, such as resumes, portfolios, or performance reels, as required by the programs
- Interviews for any formal admission interviews
- Applications completion and timely submission
